MULTI STAGE EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLING MACHINES

AMBcool Indirect Direct 115% Efficiency Airwasher
Multi Stage Evaporative Cooling refers to the multiple stages of cooling that the primary air goes through before being discharged to the occupied space.
The first stage is the indirect cooling which happens through an aluminium finned copper coil. In this stage, the two mediums do not mix. Since the water and air do not come in contact with each other, there is no evaporation of water and moisture is not added to the primary air stream. Only sensible heat is removed from the air.
This pre-cooled air then passes through the second stage of cooling-Adiabatic cooling. When the pre-cooled air passes over the wet cooling pads, it picks up moisture from the water and the heat of evaporation is taken from the the air and water both. The air gets further cooled and we get an effective efficiency of 115% with respect to the ambient conditions. The temperature of primary air at outlet is dependent on the ambient conditions at that point in time.
AMBcool Single Stage Airwasher
As the name suggests, Single Stage Airwasher provides cooling of air in a single stage. The air goes through Adiabatic cooling before being discharged to the occupied space. The hot air from outside enters the cooling pads and picks up moisture, cooling the water and air both in the process. This cool air is then discharged to the occupied space at an efficiency of 90-95% (depending on the pad thickness) with respect to the ambient conditions.
